Accordion Book

Three daughters commissioned a book containing passages about light for their mother’s 70th birthday. I created a 10 page accordion book with fabrics, appliquée, stitching, and calligraphy. Passages include candle lighting prayers from Jewish holidays, an excerpt from Leonard Cohen and the Shechecheyanu prayer.
