Genesis Tallit

While my daughter was preparing for her Bat Mitzvah, I decided to make her a tallit based on her Torah portion–Bereshit, or Genesis. God was much faster than I was in creating the world! Appliquéed animals chosen by my daughter, from the water, land, and air are in bands around a Tree of Life blooming with pomegranates. On either side are the other 6 plant species mentioned in the Torah. 72” x 32”. Fabric and fabric paint.
