Great Wall of China Tallit

Having a Chinese mother, and having visited the Great Wall of China, this Bat Mitzvah girl wanted to represent that on her tallit, as well as her interest in astronomy (there are 5 recognizable constellations embroidered among the stars). She’s already published her first book, Heart of Wisdom, with all profits benefiting Boston Children’s Hospital, so it was natural that the Tree of Life on the back have books as well as leaves hanging from the branches.
