William Morris Ketubah

The couple’s love of William Morris, the 19th century designer, and Frank Lloyd Wright, the 20th century architect, inspired the design for this custom ketubah. The sinuous leaf patterns inspired by Morris are bordered by the geometric designs borrowed from Wright’s stained glass windows. A bower of corn stalks (a private symbol for the couple) arches over the ketubah text around which is written a quote from the Baal Shem Tov: “From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven, and when two people who are destined to be together find each other, their streams of light flow together and a single, brighter light goes forth from their united being,” Image size: 26” x 18”.
