OLIVE TREE CIRCLE
A design featuring olive trees forming an arch over the texts, these custom ketubahs have inspired many variations from the original one based on the wedding venue of San Ysidro Ranch in California. Variations have included the unique Fynbos flora of Cape Town, South Africa Bow Bridge in Central Park, a view of the Plaza Hotel from Central Park, a couple getting married on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Cabo San Lucas, a view of Mt Ranier in Washington, a grove of eucalyptus trees, fall leaves and a lake at sunset, and a rectangular format. Japanese anemones, bouganvillea, ginkgo leaves, roses, apples and oranges, hummingbirds and other signature birds, and butterflies, are among the flowers that customize the olive trees. Some couples also hide personal symbols among the tree leaves. The flowers and scene on the bottom half of the olive tree circle ketubah are chosen by each couple.
